CHANGING PERCEPTIONS AROUND VACCINATION
The Permian Basin in West Texas has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the US. Even those who have had the COVID-19 vaccine will often not admit to it; such is the social stigma and political controversy built up around it since the start of the pandemic.
This series was created to highlight the huge void left in families whose members have fallen victim to COVID-19, and to urge residents of the Permian Basin to get vaccinated.
The goal was never to shame or scold our audience. But rather to remind them that the people getting vaccinated are their neighbors. Valued members of the community who are just trying to keep their loved ones safe.

Married for over 40 years, Freddy and Lillie lost their lives to COVID-19 on the same day, in their family home in West Texas.
Scene B
They left behind a son who misses them everyday, and wishes his parents had made a different choice, by getting the vaccination.
